Manifesting Change Author Mike Dooley
This is actually the first book that I’ve read from Mike Dooley but he has been around for quite some time. He is a popular speaker, author, new thought leader, and founder of the blog The Universe Talks. He also played an integral part in The Secret, a popular book and movie whose main theme is the Law of Attraction.
In Manifesting Change, Mike Dooley talks about his early influences in the New Thought Movement and how he came to the realization that thoughts become things, the core of his message. To learn more about what he is all about I suggest checking out his website and his YouTube channel here.
Is This The Best Manifesting Book? My Overall Thoughts
My wife was reading this book and kept telling me, “You’ve got to read this!!!”. So I picked it up and I am so happy I did.
Manifesting Change is an excellent book and definitely one that you should read if you are interested in this subject. I’ve read other “Thoughts Become Things/Law of Attraction” books and I enjoyed this one more than the others. Not that the others weren’t great as well but there is just a way that Mike Dooley presents the information that I resonate with much better. It’s simple to understand and there are real-world examples that I was easily able to associate my own life and experiences with. Whether you are a seasoned Thoughts Become Things believer, or just want to see what it’s all about, this is a great book to add to your library.
What Stood Out Most In Manifesting Change
Mike Dooley will be the first one to tell you that you can’t just think about something and it will magically appear in your life. That you can’t just slap up pictures on a vision board, and the Universe will deliver them to you. That is refreshing in this book. The Law of Attraction gets a bad rap because it is misunderstood. Mike Dooley does a great job of explaining how it all works. He gives you step by step, the actions you need to take to manifest real change in your life. Do you want abundance? Do you want better relationships? How about just being happy? Well, you can have it if you follow his steps. It CAN work like magic, but it doesn’t happen the way you think. Pick up Manifesting Change and you’ll see exactly what I mean.
What I Didn’t Like
There really isn’t much I did not like in Manifesting Change. I can tell you that there are some funny moments that had me chuckling from time to time. That is why I thought it was so relatable. If you do not care much for humor in books like this, however, you may find parts of it unappetizing. That is not to say the whole book is like that, it’s not, but if you want a more scientific approach to New Thought and the Law of Attraction you may want to consider other options.
Honestly, this book was a game-changer for me. I’ve always been into New Thought, Universal Consciousness, and the like, and this one affected me on a deep level. I’m not just saying that either. My wife and I already implemented many of his steps to manifest change in our lives. If you are looking for the best manifesting book you can find right now, consider picking this one up.
After you’ve read Manifesting Change, or if you already have, I’d like to hear your thoughts on it. Good, bad, or otherwise, let’s discuss this in the comments.
