Almost all self-made millionaires and billionaires have one thing in common; they have success habits. There are processes and rituals that are common among them that has allowed them to experience tremendous success in their lives. In this article, I’m going to share the ways of thinking and habits of the rich and wealthy.
They Do What They Love
Many millionaires say they have never worked a day in their life. That’s because they love what they do so much, they don’t consider it work. You should do the same. Find something that you are passionate about in life and do it.

They Set S.M.A.R.T Goals
S.M.A.R.T. goals are specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely. The rich and wealthy make sure that each and every one of their goals can be measured for success. You must do the same. Otherwise, you’ll never know if you are truly making progress.
They Have Excellent Time Management Skills
All millionaires know what their time is worth. Do you know what yours is worth? To do this, first you must figure out how much money you would like to make in a year and divide that by 2,000 hours. This is about how many hours the rich and wealthy work in a year. For instance, if you want to make $100,000 a year, that works out to be about $50 an hour. Question yourself throughout the day, “Is what I am doing now worth $50?” If the answer is no, stop that activity immediately or task it out to someone else. If the answer is yes, make the task a priority and eliminate all distractions. Millionaires know their worth and take on tasks accordingly.
9 Habits To Increase Your Daily Productivity
The Rich and Wealthy Say “No”
You must learn to say no if you want to experience success. Saying yes to everything wastes your time and prevents you from doing what matters most. Which is doing something that will make you happy and better your life. Someone once asked Warren Buffet what the key to his success was. He said, “I just say no to everything.”
They Keep Learning and Growing
The rich and wealthy are always learning. The average time spent by a millionaire learning and growing is 2 to 3 hours a day. They read magazines, and articles. They constantly listen to audio programs and attend seminars. In order to get and stay successful, you must stay current with the latest news, information, and trends. Make it a habit to learn something new every day.
They Watch Less Television
It’s funny to think about how the rich and wealthy rarely spend time watching television when they can easily afford the biggest and best entertainment systems. On average, a wealthy person watches less than 1 hour of TV a day. By contrast, a poor person watches 5 to 8 hours of TV a day. Watching TV can literally keep you poor. Instead of watching TV or playing video games, spend that time learning and improving your skills.
They Are Curious
Another habit of the rich and wealthy is that they are always curious. They listen more than they speak because they know that at any point, anyone could provide the inspiration for a million dollar idea. The rich never discount the input of others. They ask lots of questions and take notes most of the time.
They Maintain Their Health
The rich and wealthy also do what they can to maintain their health. They want to live as long as they possibly can and be of good mind and body when making important decisions. It takes lots of energy to be successful, so they do whatever it takes to have as much energy as they possibly can.
The Rich and Wealthy Take Calculated Risks
The rich and wealthy take calculated risks but do not gamble or take chances. Calculated risk taking involves finding out as much information about something as possible. Doing research to find out what the best course of action may be. Risk taking doesn’t have to mean jumping in with no knowledge at all. Rich people are also not afraid to get out of their comfort zone. They know that success is found by stretching themselves.
They Constantly Network
The rich are always looking for ways to increase and strengthen their relationships. They ask themselves, “Who can I help?” and “Who can be of help to me?” They seek out like-minded people with ambition and are successful as well. They limit the amount of time they spend with people who hold them back and are going nowhere.
Don’t reinvent the wheel. If you want to be one of the rich and wealthy, do what they do. Adopt the habits that have worked throughout history.
